Cork Type: 12-month contract (with a view to permanency) Salary: €35,000 - €45,000, depending on experience An established multinational is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support its Engineering Stores operation in Fermoy. This is not a standard stores role - it requires a high level of technical understanding of MRO parts, obsolescence management, and vendor engagement. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li> Review and manage reports on obsolete and at-risk MRO parts </li><li> Liaise with OEM and OCM suppliers to source parts or identify alternatives </li><li> Build and maintain a register of obsolete parts and provide sourcing options </li><li> Support engineering teams by supplying specification packs and quotations </li><li> Assist in risk assessments and potential stockpiling decisions </li><li> Maintain up-to-date documentation and systems data </li></ul> What We're Looking For: <ul><li> 4+ years' experience in a similar inventory or engineering stores role </li><li> Strong knowledge of MRO parts and their function </li><li> Experience working within a cGMP environment </li><li> Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Ariba, or Maximo </li><li> Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills </li><li> Ability to interpret part specs and handle technical engineering queries </li></ul> Desirable: <ul><li> Background in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors </li></ul> This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a technically focused logistics position within a regulated, high-performing environment.
