Summary:
A Learning & Development Specialist is required for a biotech company in Carlow. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, facilitation, implementation and optimization of site Training system, learning programs and training initiatives for the site. Ensure that objectives are effectively achieved, consistent with requirements to ensure compliance, safety and reliable supply to our customers.
Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritise training needs for the site (e.g. through consultation with L&D Lead, Global L&D Contact, managers/ system owners, and subject matter experts), with reference to the site's strategic goals and Employee Development Plans.
• Support managers and individuals by providing information, advice and resources in order to promote a high performing organisation.
• This includes design and delivery of customized training plans for new and existing employees.
• Support and further develop the L&D Business partner model.
• LMS System admin/ super user: Lead the day-to-day operation of the learning management system in compliance with site procedures.
• Ensure correct records retention for training records.
• Provide guidance for the design of training programs and assist in evaluation of training activities.
• Develop training content including materials and/or training aids required to deliver training programs.
• Act as Sub System Owner (Business Process Owner) delegate (Chapter 3.1 Training and Qualification) and provide audit support for training system as required.
• Act as subject matter expert for the training system.
• Work with relevant departments to prepare the annual GMP and EHS training plans for the site.
• Facilitate classroom and skills training as required.
• Understand the specific responsibilities of all departments as they relate to one’s own department, understanding the business processes one’s department support.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Learning and Development site Lead.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or higher preferred; ideally in a related discipline.
• 2 years’ experience and/or a particular skill set in their area of expertise that adds value to the business; ideally in a manufacturing, preferably GMP setting.
• Expert knowledge of principles and methods for design and delivery of training material.

• Support the roll out of On the Job Train the Trainer programme.

• Minimum 5 years' experience related experience in Training / L&D.
• Ideally, training experience from a GMP / Cleanroom background.
• Knowledge of training systems in particular continuous improvement training related initiatives preferable.

Summary:
A Learning Specialist is required for a biotech company in North Dublin. The Learning Specialist will define, develop, and facilitate all learning and development plans and activities for particular client group(s) within the site in support of the site’s learning strategy and Annual Learning Plan. This individual will partner will their clients to implement and ensure adherence to the site’s learning processes/system and will work with their peers to continuously improve the learning processes through to foster a continuous learning environment.
Responsibilities:

• Establishes relationships with and partners with client group(s) to understand the business goals/objectives and collaboratively defines appropriate learning strategies for client area.
• Conducts learning needs assessments and/or job analyses with client to identify relevant learning plans and solutions.
• With the business, implements learning strategy/plans (inclusive of job and functional skills) for business client. Monitors progress with appropriate documentation and metrics and defines opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Implements standard learning processes for client group; ensures ongoing adherence through coaching and appropriate use of metrics.
• Qualifies and coaches skills trainers and classroom facilitators within client group to ensure optimal delivery of training programs.
• Ensures implementation of global, site and local area training programs, as needed by client. Delivers assigned routine training as required.
• Works collaboratively within the Learning organization to implement, maintain and continuously improve standard site learning processes (i.e., Job Skills Qualification, SOP Process, Annual GMP, Safety Programs and New Employee Onboarding).
• Ensures client is in Permanent Inspection Readiness and cGMP Compliance as it relates to Training/Learning & Development.
• Support any Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) or Quality Compliance regulatory audits as required.
• Collaborate with Global Learning and Development, Learning Support Services and other manufacturing sites to implement best practices.
• The Learning Specialist will report to the Site Learning Lead.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare manufacturing experience.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing Production Systems.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Working knowledge and application of Adult Learning Principles and Evaluation Methodologies.
• Demonstrated skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, including the ability to build and maintain critical networks and collaborative relationships.
• Ability to distribute accurate information and craft messages for appropriate target audiences, with guidance if needed.

Summary:
A Learning & Development Business Partner is required for a biotech in Co. Meath. The successful candidate will be responsible for deliverables within the learning management system implementation as part of a larger Integration project. This candidate will be required to work closely with the stakeholders involved in the learning management system integration project.
Responsibilities:

• This position will be responsible for the MyLearning implementation and the setting up of our learning management system infrastructure.
• Perform supporting activities as part of the MyLearning Implementation project.
• Carry out a variety of tasks in the build of our learning management system (LMS) infrastructure including but not limited to item creation, curricula and job codes builds.
• LMS tasks including but not limited to setting up offerings, granting learning credit, troubleshooting issues for learners.
• Support in the design of new learning programs in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts.
• Co-ordinate and support trainers and provide them with timely feedback to drive learning effectiveness.
• Monitoring and tracking of learning metrics and support on time completion of learning within the Hubs.
• Support the development of our site learning plan.
• Involvement in monitoring of site learning budget, raising of PO’s and management of training vendor approval and recording.
• Engage and work collaboratively across the Enterprise Teams (self-directed work teams and hubs of expertise) to support the development and delivery of the Learning & Development programme in order to enable the site to achieve the strategic objectives related to People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to help develop, implement, support, and review all HR department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Recruitment; Assist General Manager's in Dublin with recruitment for their plants. This will mean assessing recruitment needs, sourcing candidates, interviewing, selecting, organising medical questionnaires or assessments, seeking references, obtaining correct work permits, drawing up contracts, monitoring probationary periods. Conduct exit interviews with all leavers and report on findings, analyse and make recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred. A degree in business or a related field may also be considered.
• CIPD is essential
• Successful work experience as a Human Resources Specialist, officer, administrator or other HR position
• Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development)
• Strong working knowledge and experience with IR issues
• Commitment to staying current on the understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proven ability to work independently on multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
