Tendering Engineer & Technical Writer

The Role:

Tendering Engineer in the field of Construction and Consulting in Engineering, with knowledge related to tender procedures for contracts financed under the scope of various International Financing Institutions (WB, EuropeAid, EBRD, EIB, AfDB). Will assist the Bid Team in the production of technically accurate and timely proposals ensuring a winning bid and ultimately successful project award.

The role will also include a range of quality assurance on bidding documentation.

The role will report to the Business Development Directors.

Role will be based in the Dublin Office, working within the Bid Team, but collaborating with the various in house technical teams

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To assist in the management of the end-to-end tender process from inception through to post-tender interview/clarifications from a technical aspect
  • To assist in the leading and managing of tenders ensuring compliance with varying Employer’s Requirements and Instructions to Tenderers (ITTs)
  • To assist in the management of the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires and Expression of Interest documentation
  • To ensure accurate and up to date filing of bid documents, including assembly and quality assurance of background material, and technical writing as necessary.
  • To communicate with all relevant parties ensuring they understand clear and concise tender deliverables and deadlines where required, to attend mid- and final tender review meetings
  • To work closely with the Bids Team Leader to ensure all bid libraries and management of KPI information is maintained and continuously updated
  • To guide teams in a range of sales, marketing and administrative duties including preparation of presentations, literature and electronic tender files.
  • Where required, to attend bid/no-bid and bid strategy meetings, contributing towards the decision process
  • Carry out market research on target markets and update opportunity pipeline.
  • Daily checking of tender alerts and analysis of opportunity
  • Contributing to international strategy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant third level qualification (e.g. Engineering)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience

Summary:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least three years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of GMP, GDP and DI in a pharmaceutical environment.

  • Coordinating our team of external writers to deliver 200+ sports betting articles every month.
