Overall Purpose of Job - To manage the daily operation of Assisted Living Service in the Kerry area, enabling service users to get maximum outcome from the service they have been allocated, enhancing their independence and promoting equity in line with IWAs person centered processes. To provide a line management support for Supported Personal Assistants ensuring the highest quality of service provision for our service users.
You will need to participate and integrate as a member of Assisted Living Services team. Close relationships will be established with voluntary and statutory agencies providing Assisted Living Services, Health Service Executive personnel, voluntary agencies as well as staff and management within other IWA Directorates.
Training, Experience and Qualifications
A Level 8 degree or professional qualification or higher in one of the following disciplines: Applied Social Studies / Allied Health or Nursing / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist / Community Work, General Management is essential
Substantial experience within a supervisory management role with people management experience is essential.
Previous experience of working within disability sector or similar services is an advantage. Candidates from other sectors need to be able to demonstrate that they have relevant transferable skills
Full driver's license and use of your own car is required.
