What will you do
Reporting overall to the Associate Director of Communications, and in the day-to-day role supporting the Senior Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and creating effective, engaging communications content and channels for over 23,000 employees across 90+ countries in our Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America (EMEALA) region.
This role is imperative to driving understanding and engagement into our organizational strategy, mission and values, raising awareness about employee news and activities across the EMEALA region, and driving awareness and understanding of our organizational health initiatives and best practise to improve our organization’s health and performance.
This is a great opportunity to directly support change and strategy activity in a large region, and work on both celebrating the success of our employees and connecting them to the wider identity of the company and its values.
Proven capabilities of effective communication is required, including channel strategy (online and offline), content creation, measurement and advanced knowledge of technologies such as SharePoint, digital media skills and project management skills will make you a successful candidate in this role.
Working within the larger global team, you will strive to continually evaluate and improve our resources and communication channels for all employees, located across seven regions and speaking eight languages, whilst bringing new and innovative ideas to the EMEALA team.

What you will do
You will be responsible for creating effective, impactful communication and campaigns both within our Finance Business Centers around the world, and across enterprise communication projects, supporting sustainable growth, change management, operational discipline and driving a high-performance culture, ultimately increasing our organizational health scores and contributing to our overall business growth.
This role is imperative to driving understanding of and engagement into the JCI business strategy as the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, supporting innovation, engagement and change management through effective use of channel, content and measurement.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the ownership, planning, creation and execution of strategic communications, will serve as the key communications partner to members of our leadership team in Cork and abroad. Your vast knowledge of effective communications channel strategy and measurement, coupled with a strong writing ability, will be assisted by a curiosity to learn the operational practices of a global diversified technology and multi industrial leader, and reach employees from desk-based roles all the way to sales and service technicians in the field.
Working with the wider communications team, you will strive to continually evaluate and improve our processes, resources and communication technology and messaging, for all employees, regardless of role and location, while bringing new and innovative ideas to the table.
