This is a permanent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality laboratory services that directly support patient care and clinical outcomes. As a key member of the laboratory staff, you'll be engaged in performing and supporting diagnostic tests and ensuring the smooth operation of the Histology department. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of Histology tests and specimens in line with departmental protocols and accreditation standards (INAB/JCI).</li></ul><ul><li>Support and maintain laboratory documentation, including policies, procedures, and quality standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Prioritise workloads effectively during high-volume periods and assist with concurrent testing tasks.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to introduce new technologies and ideas.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in managing laboratory supplies and investigating non-conformances and equipment issues.</li></ul><ul><li>Engage in ongoing quality assurance efforts, including participation in internal and external audits.</li></ul><ul><li>Support training and mentorship of junior staff and promote a positive, team-oriented environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain high standards of Health & Safety in line with current legislation and hospital procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in relevant research activities and contribute to process improvement and service development.</li></ul> Requirements <ul><li>Must hold or be eligible for membership with the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM)/CORU or equivalent regulatory body.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 1-year post-training laboratory experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in Histology is required.</li></ul> Why this Job?
