Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do
As a Misinformation Associate Manager you’ll research, draft, and implement policies covering all aspects of misinformation and identity related issues impacting conversations on Twitter — from deepfakes and synthetic media, to protecting the integrity of elections and civic processes, to combating false narratives on public health topics. For this role, we’re looking for someone familiar with how misinformation manifests and propagates in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, and will lead a small team in Dublin.
You’ll work on crafting an approach to misinformation issues across product, policy, investigations, and enforcement. You’ll also act as a point of contact for critical issues involving misinformation and support response efforts across the company to mitigate virality and potential harms around critical public events.
Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of online safety, human rights, privacy, and freedom of expression, with specific experience in misinformation issues in the EMEA region.
You are passionate about understanding and combating threats to online conversational health, and aren’t afraid of tackling high-impact problems.
You bring a proven track record of owning and successfully completing multi-functional projects from planning to implementation.
You have good interpersonal and written communication skills,
You build and cultivate healthy relationships with partners to keep them informed and engaged.
You are humble, curious, and a fast learner who brings positivity and a solution-focused approach to all tasks.
You work well under pressure, and can promptly engage with new and complex problems to identify and implement solutions.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, and adapting to the needs and work styles of other teams and organisations.

Requirements
3 years experience working on relevant issues (safety, security, misinformation, and/or content policy), preferably at an internet or technology company.
BA/BS or equivalent professional experience.
Assets: Prior experience in a managerial role, as is proficiency in EMEA region languages
