Our client, based in Waterford, requires a Project Engineer.
This is a full time, permanent Project Engineer job, with a large scale manufacturing facility.
The MNC is looking for an experienced Project Engineer who has experience in both Civils AND CAPEX production line CI and new line introduction.
You will be joining an energetic team, who enjoy their work and appreciate the company culture.
You will report into the Group Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for projects from concept to completion.
Do you have a formal Engineering degree? Mechanical, Project, process, civil?
Do you have 5 years project experience gained in a production facility?
During your busy and varied day you will be responsible for:
- Management of the design, implementation and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects; focusing on a broad range of Group Projects from Building Services, Production facility Upgrades, Project management of small and large-scale projects.;
- Manage and coordinate element on multiple projects on various production sites for the duration of projects;
- Implement and adhere to company project management procedures and SOPs to deliver projects;
- Design and tender of engineering projects, including generating user requirement specifications, tender specifications and tender drawings;
- Verification, commissioning and handover of engineering systems to end users;
- Develop project budgets and manage for the lifecycle of the project;
- Work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects;
- Facilitate and participate in the departments continuous improvement program;
- Design engineering systems and upgrades and implement same;
- Provide technical support to production sites.

ROLE OBJECTIVES:

* Check and sign-off factory BOM's and Specification Changes
* Coordination Engineering Pilot and First Production for New Projects.
* Run review meetings as part of NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
* Attend development meetings as appropriate
* Support any business requirements on material changes, routing changes, etc. to existing products. * Manage changes to SAP to ensure BOMs matches the product specification and what current production method.
* Support Operations and Technical on any Capital Projects requiring PME input.
* Support Planning, Purchasing, and Senior Management requests/Projects.
* Manage and implement changes to improve DFM (Design for Manufacture) to increase cost-effectiveness for new and existing products.
* Liaise with all departments on suggested product improvements.
* Participate in Value Engineering and continuous improvement teams.
* Deliver personal objectives and KPIs in support of plant-wide objectives.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Engineering/Product Design Diploma or Degree is required
* Great communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
* Ability to communicate at a technical level with creative designers and engineers Desirable:
* Understanding of product design principles and a wide range of the manufacturing processes.
* SAP experience is beneficial
* Excellent understanding of manufacturing tolerances and Design for Manufacture

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities:
Automation systems
- Facilitate internal resources and outside vendors in developing technical solutions for automated equipment. Interface with equipment vendors to ensure successful equipment delivery, integration, and validation.

- Successful track record of project managing validation activities and cost reduction projects.
- Technical knowledge of Automated Systems (Pneumatic, Electro-pneumatic, Robotic)
- LEAN, Six Sigma experience
- Monitoring of materials, equipment and process flows during validation and ramp-up related activities to ensure high levels of performance and OEE.
- Process background (development, capability, optimization, validation) within a regulated industry.

My client is a bio pharmaceutical company who is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join their team in Waterford. The successful candidate will work as part of the Facilities team on capital projects on site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist facilities engineer with capital projects both project management and execution.
- Projects will include the migration of live commercial manufacturing and sampling suites to a QBMS.
- Facility modifications to convert from soft gel manufacturing to accommodate commercial granulation suite.
- Introduction of new facility equipment on site to serve sterile manufacturing facility.
- Annual shutdown including HVAC and clean utility requalification to ISO.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Engineer in a similar environment.
- Pharmaceutical experience is essential.
- HVAC, QBMS, compressed air and nitrogen plant equipment experience is strongly desired.

Our client, based in Waterford, requires a Project Engineer.
This is a full time, permanent Project Engineer job, with a large scale manufacturing facility.
The MNC is looking for an experienced Project Engineer who has experience in both Civils AND CAPEX production line CI and new line introduction.
You will be joining an energetic team, who enjoy their work and appreciate the company culture.
You will report into the Group Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for projects from concept to completion.
Do you have a formal Engineering degree? Mechanical, Project, process, civil?
Do you have 5 years project experience gained in a production facility?
During your busy and varied day you will be responsible for:
- Management of the design, implementation and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects; focusing on a broad range of Group Projects from Building Services, Production facility Upgrades, Project management of small and large-scale projects.;
- Manage and coordinate element on multiple projects on various production sites for the duration of projects;
- Implement and adhere to company project management procedures and SOPs to deliver projects;
- Design and tender of engineering projects, including generating user requirement specifications, tender specifications and tender drawings;
- Verification, commissioning and handover of engineering systems to end users;
- Develop project budgets and manage for the lifecycle of the project;
- Work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects;
- Facilitate and participate in the departments continuous improvement program;
- Design engineering systems and upgrades and implement same;
- Provide technical support to production sites.
