Summary:
Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Tipperary is looking for a Project Engineer who will support site Capital & Expense projects.
Responsibilities:

  • Link with project team to develop project change control document.
  • Review any queries that may arise from project change control committee.

  • Review equipment list with project team and issue request for tag numbers.
  • Complete equipment registration forms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have as a minimum a 3rd level qualification in Engineering or Science related area.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in Pharm/Bio Pharm industry with experience in project activities in maintenance, engineering and project management practices.
  • Understands the typical project life cycle from concept through to qualification and has proven experience in this area.
  • Familiar with engineering project management tools.
  • Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working in strongly regulated GMP environment.
  • High level of customer orientation/understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in project management.

Overview of Role:

Ergo are expanding our Azure team and we are seeking an Presales Solutions Architect for a permanent role in Dublin (remote work option available). The successful Presales Solutions Architect will work in a presales consultancy capacity with our sales and delivery teams and helping to design cloud solutions for some of Irelands leading companies.

You will be someone that is experienced in both the architecting and delivery of Azure solutions but now want to move away from full delivery responsibility to a more strategic Solution Architecting customer facing role.

You will be tasked with architecting Azure solutions to our customer base. You will do so through workshop sessions with both internal Ergo and Customer teams to arrive at a solution aligned to customer requirements. You will also build Proof of Concept solutions as required to allow our customers to begin to realize the benefits of the solution.

The TSC team operates as a Centre of Excellence where the team works individually or collaboratively with colleagues or partners to provide complete Technical Architecture for a given solution.

Perfect English and excellent documentation skills are of paramount importance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work at the core of the Centre of Excellence for Microsoft Azure solutions
  • Solution Architecting, design and planning
  • Play a key role in the sales delivery cycle, from prospect to workshops to architecting, documenting and presenting
  • Post sales Technical Delivery guidance.
  • Be a “trusted expert advisor” when needed - maintaining detailed industry knowledge.
  • Work with our partner organizations and internal teams to architect and price solutions

·        Manage multiple projects from scope development, design, build/install and qualify through to handover to operations for key Engineering projects on site.

Job Description

  • Lead a cross-functional team during technical transfers (sending site) and new product introduction (NPI) (receiving site) projects in accordance with a pre-approved project plan, schedule and current project management best practice.  Ensure that critical manufacturing systems and support structures are in place for major technology transfer and NPI projects and provide technical advice on process engineering requirements as needed.  Liaise with technology transfer project counterparts in other Takeda sites;
  • Project manage the technical transfers to ensure a smooth transition;
  • Execute early stage feasibility, technical, process optimisation and process validation studies;
  • Liaise with the Engineering Process Support Team to identify process improvement opportunities for legacy products.  Propose and implement sustainable solutions to reduce processing times, improve yield, reduce defects and eliminate waste;
  • Identify cost-effective opportunities for the introduction of best-in-class manufacturing technologies. Design and introduce these technologies to manufacturing operations;
  • Review Change Records and Risk Assessments to assess potential process and validation impact;
  • Use statistical software packages for data analysis and in the identification and reporting of shifts, signals and trends in process parameters and product quality attributes;
  • Execute process improvement projects and deviation investigations using Six Sigma methodologies;
  • Liaise with other departments, vendors, external consultants & other Takeda sites as required;
  • Provide regular progress updates (written and verbal) on projects and activities within and beyond the Manufacturing Sciences Team as stated in project communication plans and/or as required by the relevant stakeholders;
  • Adhere to the compliance matrix of business processes and routine departmental tasks;
