YOUR NEW ROLE
Some of the key elements in this exciting and career advancing Production Supervisor role include:
  • Manage Staff resource allocation to the various areas of the department
  • Manage the critical inventory programme to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock and available for planned production

  • Effectively leading, motivating and mentoring a large shift team in a highly automated environment.

  • Determine and assist with resolving root causes of line problems, quality issues and waste. Background knowledge of application of appropriate techniques for this such as lean manufacturing and six sigma tools would be advantageous.

  • Lead BP Production System deployment and actively support the plant Continuous Improvement program.

The Successful candidate will hold a Third level qualification coupled with extensive and relevant work experience.

Overview

The Naas Pizza site is part of the Nomad Foods Group. The business operates two manufacturing sites in Ireland (Naas and Longford) employing approximately 450 FTEs and producing c. 50k tons of Pizzas annually, predominantly under the Goodfella’s and San Marco brands. BEP also produces own label Pizza for many retailers in both the UK and Ireland.

The core responsibility of the Production Manager role is to lead their team and contribute to the overall operational performance of the plant. Job Description

On site the company has a range of automatic and manual reinforcement bending machines that cut & bend various steel products/components that are supplied primarily to clients in the construction sector.

YOUR NEW ROLE

Some of the key elements in this exciting and career advancing Production Supervisor role include:
  • Manage Staff resource allocation to the various areas of the department
  • Manage the critical inventory programme to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock and available for planned production
  • Maintain up to date training and H&S records while making sure that staff are sufficiently cross trained across all machines
  • Make sure production equipment is regularly services and preventative maintenance is carried out.
  • Oversee quality, monitor returns, defective items and carry out daily product inspections
  • Make sure that all operatives know what their work plan is each day
  • Monitor, measure and record daily production volumes against budget
