Overview:

The Product Manager (SPM) for Ergo’s Cloud Services portfolio, has end to end responsibility for the performance of the services in this portfolio. The Ergo’s Cloud Services portfolio include consultancy, implementation, migration, application development, support and managed services. Ergo is currently Microsoft’s partner of the year in Ireland, as such many of Ergo’s Cloud Services are based on Azure.

The SPM will be lead the Cloud Services portfolio vision, manage cloud services through the product life cycle (build, launch, retire) and manage existing services. The SPM will collaborate with our internal stakeholders (Sales, Azure Technology practice, Project and Service Delivery, Marketing, Finance and Legal) and external customers to identify relevant and differentiated Cloud Services. The SPM will compile a roadmap and ensure long-term viability and relevance of these services to their customers.

This role is office (or work-from-home as required) based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build upon the existing success of Ergo’s Cloud Services portfolios and lead the continued strategic development of all Managed/Supporting services, their positioning and role in the marketplace
• Understand the performance of existing Ergo Cloud Services, and address opportunities for improvement.
• Assess our target market and identify opportunities using market research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interviews.
• Create a short-, mid- and long-term strategy to drive (managed) services and maximize value delivered to customers
• Collaborate on the development of business case justification and financials to support investments.
• Responsible for the full life-cycle of Cloud products and related Managed/Supporting Services through close partnership with the cross-functional core team throughout all phases.
• Contribute to ‘Go to Market’ strategies to ensure successful adoption of new cloud services offering and work closely with sales and clients to foster adoption.
• Responsible for internal training, sales, and development of the portfolio
• Managing resources to make sure schedule is on track.
• The SPM will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, product backlog, timelines, milestones, costs, and determine product pricing strategies.
• Reporting on projects and portfolio.
• Work across the senior leadership team and cross-functional teams demonstrating experience in influencing, negotiating, and collaboration skills.

• Set the vision for our client’s websites and applications, understanding how it connects to company’s objectives and is relentlessly focused on delivering the same value

• Continuous assessment and prioritisation of backlog and roadmap of BAU and project-level changes to the ecommerce websites and applications
• Ability to prioritise demand based on reactive environment and business needs
• Define, prioritise and communicate short, mid and long term goals of the digital products
• Engagement and ownership throughout requirement definition, technical design, UX/UI design, delivery and QA of requests
• Establish and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders and vendors alike
• Prioritise features based on customer need/want, engineering challenges, compliance & legal requirements and still deliver relevant business outcomes
• Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sign off approvals

• 4+ years product management experience
• Ecommerce experience essential
• Retail knowledge preferable
• Agile/ Scrum environment experience
• Hands on experience building products/features
• Effective communication skills to manage expectations and build relationships across stakeholders and drive vendor performance
• Experience in developing robust roadmap of both strategic and commercial initiatives alongside stakeholders throughout the business beginning with discovery sessions and later, regular check point meetings
• Experienced with and comfortable leading product discovery workshops and customer journey mapping

The Technical Product Manager is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of Content to all customers through the RegIntel product.  He or she works with the Content & Product teams to ensure all customers (direct & 3rd party) receive full value of the CPM Content.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with CCOE team to understand content developments and changes
Work with OneSumx CPM Product Management to understand current & planned changes to RegIntel and content delivery
Communicating those changes to 3rd party partners (Archer & IBM/OP)
Work with 3rd parties to implement those changes, liaising with Product as needed, to ensure 3rd Party customers receive required content.
Lead discussions with the product teams for integration efforts with new partners
Understand the Content and Product Roadmaps
Support pre-sales in content delivery discussions
Work with Professional Services teams on delivery implementations to 3rd party clients
Act as first point of escalation for both content & software support issues relating to 3rd party customers
Reporting progress and issues to Business, Market and Channel Management

It will be a technical role and the person will have expertise in XML. They will need to have an understanding of content without being a subject matter expert. They will need to understand the structure of the content rather than the content itself.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS in relevant field, or equivalent experience

Experience:

Minimum 5- years Business Analyst type role, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated success in supporting customers and customer facing organizations
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish goals
Experience of Financial Services Industry
Ideal candidate would have Regulatory Compliance or Risk Management experience

My client currently has a requirement for a Product Manager to join their growing team based in Wexford.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that covers all commercial and technical aspects and maximises growth
• Research all Epics sufficiently with stakeholders, break them into user stories and ensure there are business cases to support their release
• Establish a definition of done for each Epic that includes all relevant elements including collateral material, training, user acceptance testing, roll out plan, reporting, mechanisms to measure success against the business case.
• Build relationships with partners and identify commercial opportunities with partners and provide a value proposition to them
• Motivate, coach and influence the development team you are working with
• Follow/Understand market trends and industry insights to ensure competitive offerings that future proof customer needs
• Work closely with internal disciplines such as engineering, operations, marketing, finance and sales
• Encourage the use of structured experimentation and scientific learning and contribute to the evangelism of Lean within the organisation

Experience

• You have at least two years’ product management or similar experience
• You will be able to travel freely within Ireland and the UK / EU
• You will have a recognised third level qualification as a minimum

• You are experienced at documenting with written, visual and lean tools (KANBAN etc) and presenting them clearly
