This is a customer-facing role where you will advise on technical solutions and implement system upgrades and migrations. The successful candidate will also act as an escalation point for the Helpdesk (L1, L2, L3) and should have extensive experience in Office 365, Azure, VMware, Mobile Device Management and networking (including Firewalls and LAN support). Exceptional communication skills are a must-have as is a Driver's license (company car provided). What will you do? <ul><li>Visit customer sites to advise on technology enhancements and implement IT projects</li><li>Escalation management</li><li>Lead on incoming designated projects, </li><li>Installation of Server hardware, Firewall's, core infrastructure, Wifi, cloud solutions and Networks.</li><li>Work with Sales department and Project Manager to develop project plans and technical pre-sales to deliver projects in an efficient and timely manner.</li><li>Mentoring junior Engineers</li><li>Travel on site to customers for installs and repairs when required.</li><li>Continue to learn new technologies / self-educate and highlight where training is required.</li></ul> What do you need? <ul><li>5+ years experience in a similar role: Systems Engineer, IT Administrator, Field Engineer, Professional Services, Managed Services, IT Consultant</li><li>Client / Account Management</li><li>Driver's License</li><li>Exceptional communication skills</li><li>Professional certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware etc. are desirable</li></ul> You should also have experience in the following technologies: <ul><li>Microsoft365 stack</li><li>Azure</li><li>Intune</li><li>VMware</li><li>Network support and Firewalls</li><li>Backups (Veeam an advantage)</li></ul> Apply today for more information.
