What is the opportunity?
As a Legal Analyst at Brightflag, you will work as a part of our talented legal product team on legal resourcing and cost analytics. This entry level position provides unprecedented insight into the corporate legal market, in addition to the growing role of technology and analytics in the legal space. You will have the exciting opportunity to be part of fast-growing analyst team and tech start-up, as well as having direct impact on the success of the legal product team
What will I be doing?
- Classifying invoice data to improve AI accuracy
- Generating savings and reports to highlight inefficiencies in our client's legal spend
- Implementing and analysing client billing guidelines
- Outlining ideas and suggestions to improve and develop the Brightflag software
- Cooperating with other internal departments to ensure our client's needs are met
What Skills do I need?
- A Bachelor's degree in Law or business and law graduates
- Strong academic record
- No fear of numbers
- An interest in business and technology

- Preparing Brief’s for Hearing
- Engrossing Pleadings
- Liaising with Barristers/Witnesses etc re hearing dates.
- Scheduling Settlement/Consultation Meetings on cases
Requirements:
- Experience using Case Management is advantageous
- 4 years Personal Injury Litigation experience is desirable
- Dynamic and flexible individual
- Motivated and enthusiastic person with a focus on client care.
- Strong teamwork/collaborative skills
- Time and Priority Management
- Tact and Diplomacy
- Strong Typing Skills ideally 60-70wpm and high accuracy
- Excellent MS Office and IT Skills

The Role
This unique Senior Associate opportunity in the employment team would offer the successful candidate unrivalled access to the most interesting work, close engagement with well-regarded clients and the opportunity to develop your career working closely with the Partners operating at the highest level in Employment Law in the Irish market.
You will be responsible for advising clients on strategic and business critical legal matters, driving defence related to contentious employment litigation, advising on all employment aspects of commercial transactions, and advising employers on employee internal grievance and disciplinary processes.
Due to the level of this hire, the Senior Associate would be expected to lead on complex employment law matters, support the wider firm agenda in relation to business development and growing the practice and mentor junior members in the team.
The Person
To be considered for this Senior Employment Associate opportunity, you will have a demonstrable approach to client engagement, business development and technical delivery with the ability to engage with clients in a meaningful manner and establish long term relationships and to build your personal brand in the market.
You will have a minimum of 4 years+ PQE in employment law having trained in a top tier, medium tier or boutique firm in Ireland or the UK.
You will have an engaging and commercial approach with extensive client experience working closely with leading Irish and international businesses.
