JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their new Software engineering team in Dublin. Your tasks will include supporting & evolving their web-based Supplier Information & Risk management systems. Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, scalable and secure software solutions.

• Design and develop clean, maintainable, and performant code as part of a dynamic, agile software engineering team

• Take part in architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers throughout the software development life cycle, including code reviews

Our client provides a monthly subscription service to over 2 million customers arcoss the US and are rolling out their services throughout Europe this year.

 The company provides subscribers with a monthly custom-curated lifestyle box that contains a collection of products ranging from beauty, fashion, wellness, fitness, technology, and beyond. 

Their advanced eCommerce platform also has its own video streaming service offering, providing subscribers with access to on-demand wellness videos, daily lifestyle content, etc.

 Their upcoming plans include a major overhaul of their systems, replacing their large-scale eCommerce platform with microservices architecture and rebuilding it using modern back-end programming languages such as Java/Python.  

After successfully establishing an R&D Hub and core team in Dublin city last year, they now hiring for a Technical Lead Software Engineer to work as a "hands-on" Senior Engineer (90% of the time), delegate technical work, and support a high-performing team of developers (8) based in Dublin. 

What you'll be doing

• Work with product, engineering, and project management teams to ensure maximize productivity across the team
• Ensuring the team's technical efforts are aligned with those of the organizations
