The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting senior operational and commercial teams, driving performance, ensuring compliance with group standards, and contributing to strategic business decision-making. Location: Cork Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing & Distribution Seniority: Senior Leadership - Site & Country-Level Oversight Salary: Open for the right candidate Requirement: Must be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Key Responsibilities Industrial Controlling <ul><li>Own the month-end close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with global reporting standards</li><li>Coordinate and manage budget cycles and forecasting for the plant</li><li>Analyse plant performance, variances, KPIs and improvement projects in collaboration with Plant Management</li><li>Track production costs and drive cost-efficiency initiatives across materials, labour, and operations</li></ul> Commercial Controlling <ul><li>Lead financial analysis and performance reporting for the Irish commercial branch</li><li>Partner with sales and operations to influence pricing strategies, customer analysis, and ROI evaluation</li><li>Prepare institutional forecasts and budget submissions (SAF, Budget, Reforecast)</li><li>Monitor cost allocations across SKUs/entities to ensure accurate P&L representation</li></ul> Key Requirements <ul><li>Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)</li><li>10-15 years' relevant experience within a commercial/industrial finance setting</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing financial statements under local GAAP</li><li>Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, and Excel (Advanced)</li><li>Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing or supervising teams</li><li>Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills</li></ul> This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic organisation undergoing continued growth in the Irish market.
