As a fully Irish owned company, we employ over 150 highly qualified and trained personnel at our HPRA authorised repackaging facility in Ashbourne Co. Meath. 


About the role

Our Information Technology team is closely integrated with the business and plays a significant role in the effective daily operations of the company. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a team who will be at the forefront of technology, to develop your skill sets in a diverse and technically challenging environment. This is an ONSITE role.


What you will do?

  • Provide first point of contact to onsite and remote staff replying to all communications and tickets assigning priory and level.
  • General computer maintenance and repair, including ordering equipment
  • Ensure end user compliance with all IT policies and procedures across PCO.
  • Escalate issues as necessary to Level2/Senior Administrator.
  • Ensure all systems are patched and protected with Antivirus and OS Updates.
  • Support the roll-out of new technologies and software.
  • Support a busy service desk for incident and request fulfilment as first line support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for end users and take ownership for the resolution of issues, monitoring progress and applying the escalation procedure, when necessary.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all communications/tickets and general trouble shooting.
  • User Account Management - create/update/disable user accounts for new staff, movers etc.
  • Maintain the solution database, write and maintain solutions to the IT Management system.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT support Team on projects.


What you will bring?

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a busy IT support role.
  • Technical Skills: good working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and underlying Windows OS.
  • Coding experience and previous experience of active directory, windows servers, JIRA, Manage Engine and basic back up technologies would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills with experience with configuring and repairing PC/Laptops.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with and ability to work independently or with cross functional teams.
  • Good communication stills, both written and verbal with fluency in English.
  • Ability to multitask and ensure flawless execution and delivery.
  • Demonstrate an outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Our staff and IT users internally will be your customers, so it will be important to ensure your customers are supported in a timely manner and have a positive experience. 
  • Have a desire for continuous learning, be curious and the ability to quickly learn new skills.

Overall Job Purpose:


BNPP Dublin Middle Office consists of 2 departments: Credit Services & Support Services. Its 2 main objectives are to:

  • Coordinate the operational implementation of the deals (or laquo;programmeraquo; in Supply Chain) and ensure the accuracy and consistency of deals parameters including credit, legal and operational conditions by performing independent controls at implementation stage and during deal life-cycle
  • Support BNP Paribas Clients and non-clients with the objective of excellence-to-operate through a risk management framework and respect of compliance banking rules

Dublin Global Trade Services (GTS) & Dublin Operations interact with Dublin Middle Office on a daily basis and rely on it to perform all the activities necessary for the client to be able to start using our products. Dublin Middle Office also performs controls independently from GTS & Operations.


Dublin Middle Office ndash; Support Services teams focus on Product Support, Registration and Specialised Due Diligence


Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting department head with management tasks
  • Prioritise tasks and delegate accordingly to the rest of the team
  • Assist with the preparation of daily, monthly quarterly and ad hoc reports for Head Office, BLs, KPIshellip;
  • Be the first and single point for both the Internal and External operational clients from the programrsquo;s implementation until its exit
  • Issue analysis & monitoring, supporting internal & external clients on CSC E-Banking support.
  • Train & Support all the Internal and External clients, on the new features implemented in CSC implement new features, maintain CSC user guide, provide CSC credentials
  • Management of CSC Client Queries received by e-mail and phone
  • Analyze all the reported CSC issues on behalf of clients & non-clients, external & internal, and follow-up until resolution in coordination with CSC Local support team. Provide pro-active answer to users.
  • System monitoring and reporting
  • Ensure required controls are performed

Qualification, Experience & Competencies

  • Business/Finance 3rd level qualification
  • 1 to 3yearsrsquo; experience in banking operations
  • Proficiency with general IT system applications
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Customer Support experience
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance products an advantage but not essential
  • Proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate up, across and down the organisation
  • Ability to engage with all business operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
  • May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
  • Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
  • Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
  • Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a qualified person to Level 8 Degree in Engineering / Science or related discipline, Masters preferred and desirably with 10 years relevant direct engineering experience within medical device environment.
• A minimum of three to five years direct managerial experience of engineers and a career history of demonstrated progressive management experience.
• Dynamic team player and leader and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Experienced in a medical device market and have a proven result driven track record.
• Excellent team building, communication, people management and leadership skills are desirable.
• Good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
