IT Support Technician (Office & Field based)

Osborne are recruiting an IT Support Technician for a client based in Dublin 15 as well as the occasional on-site hardware support in other offices (10-20% of the time).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in their IT career to work in an IT support capacity as well as working on some exciting IT projects upcoming throughout the year.

 

This role will require a Full Clean Driving License as well as own transport

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site installation, validation and commissioning
  • Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
  • Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location
  • Provide on-site training to the customers
  • General IT support as well as interest to progress and work on some exciting projects

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Diploma in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT installation and configuration.
  • 3 years relevant IT installation & configuration experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Window server, exchange server, and desktop operating system.
  • Experience with IT network systems & device and IT hardware.
  • Knowledge in IT security and VPN, and Antivirus.
  • Experience with Email filtering / anti-spam solutions.
  • Experience with VMWare & Hyper-V Virtualisation technologies.
