Open source is a critical element of VMware strategy. VMware’s Open Source Program Office (OSPO) is the strategic approach to engage with open source and the Open Source Technology Center (OSTC) is its upstream engineering arm.
OSTC engineers have established presence and influence in leading-edge open source projects, making meaningful contributions for the good of the industry, promoting VMware standards for best practices in open source engagement with external communities and establishing VMware as an open source good citizen.

The Role
This role will primarily be focused on contributions to open source secure software supply chain projects and their integrations. The team’s current focus is on The Update Framework (TUF) and its integration into the Python Package Index (PyPI). This role will interface closely with peers of all levels, both inside VMware and with contributors across various open source communities.

What you will do
As a Senior Software Engineer for Johnson Controlrsquo;s Connected Converged Security solutions, the successful candidate will work in a team to design and develop highly scalable, flexible, polyglot based micro services. The candidate will be instrumental in delivering compelling solutions leveraging a cloud-based multi-tenanted architecture. The candidate will be a key contributor in determining the architecture of our solutions.
The individual must be capable of working collaboratively with multiple development and QA teams in defining and evolving our development processes to ensure solutions are delivered on-time, within budget and in accordance with the architectural vision and performance expectations.
Candidates must be proficient in working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment requiring strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

bull; Participates in the analysis, design, development, implementation and testing of highly scalable multi-tenant Java based micro services and web applications.
bull; Mentors, coaches and collaborates with other engineers to maintain high standards and foster a culture of continuous learning.
bull; Actively participates in agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives, code reviews and makes recommendations on coding standards amp; process improvements.
bull; Utilises build / test frameworks and strategies in a CI/CD environment.
bull; Collaborates with QA and UX teams
bull; Works closely with Product Management.
bull; Highlights and escalates issues/concerns to tech lead and management teams as they arise.

What we look for
bull; 5+ years of experience in software development. 2 years of hands on experience developing highly scalable SaaS solutions.
bull; Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
bull; Expert knowledge of Enterprise Java (J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate).
bull; Experience with enterprise application architectures and frameworks for cloud-based solutions.
bull; Distributed queuing technologies such as MQTT or Kafka.
bull; Solid understanding of software development life cycle, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
bull; Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
bull; Experience developing applications utilizing one or more of the following web services technologies: REST, GraphQL, Json, or XML
bull; Experience developing highly scalable data-driven applications based on structured and unstructured data sets utilizing modern technologies:

The Role:
The Salesforce Project Manager will work as part of the IT Digital Platforms CRM team to manage global, cross-functional projects related to Salesforce and associated applications for the Logitech Global Video Collaboration Commercial (Sales & Marketing) organization. This position will be located in Cork, Ireland.

Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and IT subject matter experts to manage multiple projects in the CRM and PRM space. Work with WW Sales & Marketing teams to extract and document business and technical requirements. Participate in design, documentation, training, and delivery efforts in concert with other team members

Expertise with business processes around Marketing, Sales & Channel Partner management
Solid understanding of best practices in CRM usage and ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges
Proven administrator and configurator skills with Sales Cloud
Basic understanding in programming using Force.com APEX, VisualForce and the use of these tools with Salesforce.com
Familiarity with Salesforce.com Integration components for Salesforce (for example, APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging and Data Loader)
