This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Sonographer to step into a leadership role! <h3 class="">The Role:</h3> As Lead Sonographer, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day clinical operations while maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient care. You'll lead a dedicated team of sonographers, contribute to service development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellence in clinical delivery. <h3 class="">Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li class=""> Perform independent diagnostic ultrasound examinations </li><li class=""> Oversee daily department operations, workflow, and scheduling </li><li class=""> Support and mentor sonographers, providing training and performance reviews </li><li class=""> Ensure equipment functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting </li><li class=""> Coordinate with reporting radiologists to ensure seamless service </li><li class=""> Uphold clinical governance, best practices, and policy compliance </li><li class=""> Identify growth opportunities and support service expansion </li><li class=""> Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning </li></ul><h3 class="">Requirements:</h3><ul><li class=""> BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) </li><li class=""> CORU registration (essential) </li><li class=""> 4-6+ years post-qualification experience in Ultrasound </li><li class=""> MSc in Diagnostic Ultrasound desirable, but not essential </li></ul> For more information please contact Sinead Brennan at FRS Recruitment or Apply Below!
