My client is well established biopharmaceutical manufacturer in Cork offering a position for an HVAC Engineer at their state of the art facility. As the HVAC Engineer, you will be a part of a multidiscipline project engineering team on site. Previous HVAC design and construction support experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry is essential to secure this role.

Maintain and oversee the installation, assembly, fitting, testing and commissioning of complete building services engineering systemsAs aHeating Ventilation Air Conditioning or Building Management SystemsControls Engineer youcould find yourself working in many different places such as Sports Stadiums, Datacentres, Office buildings and many more!You may be responsible for the energy efficiency of the building you work in and be expected to make recommendations to the building owner about how to improve this
How you will do it
The successful apprentice will enrol onto the Level 6 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship is a 4 year programme consisting of 7 phases. 4 on-the-job and 3 off-the-job in a training facility. You will be learn to install, maintain and repair all types of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and systems. This apprenticeship will provide a foundation from which to progress on several career paths within the Company as a HVACor BMSControlsapprenticespecializing inInstallations, projectsorService Engineer.During this apprenticeship you will learn about maintaining and repairing complete engineering systems. This is a very exciting, challenging and rewarding role that will provide a start point for a lifelong career within a highly innovative and technical business environment.
What we look for
Minimum of 5 Leaving Certificates including Maths, English, Science and a technical subject at grade Grades O1-O4 (or A - C/A1-C3)
Enthusiasm to learn and an interest in problem solving
Self-motivated
Good IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Driving license or Learner license
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Although no engineering experience is required, candidates must show an interest in engineering
