Senior Reward Manager - Global Incentives

What you will do
This is strategic impact role at manager level, in terms of delivering value to the JCI organization by putting in place effective and sustainable incentive solutions for Buildings Businesses. Define, design, document and guide successful roll out and implementation of incentive plans, both sales and non-sales.


We offer 100% home/remote based contract even after pandemic.


How you will do it

  • Responsible to the business partners for providing subject matter expertise in designing and structuring incentive compensation programs to meet business objectives and drive year-on-year profitable growth related plans.
  • Provide thought leadership to business partners to transform their needs into an optimal incentive compensation design.
  • Work with the leadership to foster both compromise and approvals regarding final design recommendations.
  • Represent Total Rewards COE as the Incentive Compensation Design leader and partner with other team members from the Total Rewards COE to provide an optimal service level.
  • Responsible for integrating survey feedback, gaps and cost assessments, performance effectiveness analyses, design diagnostic reports, and business strategic requirements into the creation of incentive compensation design proposals.
  • Create strong relationship and partnership within cross functional organization such as finance, HR, IT, operations and legal in order to develop a coalition for incentive compensation engagements regardless of size and scope.
  • Work with business partners in order to develop additional reward programs (e.g. SPIFFs) outside the primary incentive compensation plans in order to support either local, regional or corporate tactical objectives through both cash and non-cash reward programs.
  • Develop and design incentive compensation and reward programs that meet local regulatory compliance and governance/audit programs.
  • Reinforce governance processes: management cadence, target setting, communication platform, scorecard reporting, eligible population definitions, year-end calculation process, etc.
  • Drive alignment of local/regional/legacy plans towards common approach: partner with regional HR and Operations leaders, understand local requirements and circumstances, and guide, steer, influence towards standardization and simplification.
  • Develop communication and learning materials to educate TR COE and HR communities on incentive programs.
  • Work with HRBP and Field HR supporting network of local amp; regional HR partners to drive program implementation.
  • Total Rewards COE ndash; regional teams: access to resources for specific benchmarking, analysis and/or recurrent processes.
  • Collaborate with JCI leadership at all levels of the organization (general management, sales, finance).

Qualifications

What we look for
Required

  • Overall good understanding of HR, Total Rewards, Compensation and benefits.
  • Extensive knowledge in incentive compensation design.
  • Project management skills (run multiple projects simultaneously across different regions), influence skills.
  • Communication: ability to interact with and influence/guide stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence to successfully steer change management initiatives towards standardized approach.

Preferred

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration/Operation. MBA and CSCP would be a plus but not required.
  • Solid understanding of the dynamics of a products and manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience with global incentives markets and local laws strongly preferred.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of all total rewards components (grading, base salary structures, variable pay practices, benefits, etc.)

The Territory Development Representative (TDR) works with current and prospective customers to identify sales opportunities in the assigned territory. Working in support of the Sales Representative and Sales Engineer, the TDR handles a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to follow-up on leads and generate sales activity.

 

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Varonis sales process and understand our core products in order to effectively sell to prospective customers.
  • Work with your assigned Sales Representative and Sales Engineer, as well as Management to determine a strategic sales approach.
  • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start the sales process.
  • Present and sell Varonis’ products and services to current and potential customers through high volumes of phone calls.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity, the Varonis Marketing team, Channel Partners, and individual prospecting.
  • Support your Sales Representative and Sales Engineer by staying on top of crucial sales activities including cold calling, booking meetings, and prospecting.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College/University AND 1 years of business-to-business sales experience/training OR equivalent combination to education and experience.
  • Technology industry experience preferred.
  • Basic skill level of Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding phone skills and ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Personal drive and internal motivation towards high achievement.
  • Sense of humor.

 

Certification Test

  • As an incoming TDR, you will work through our educational portal and pass our required certifications within two weeks of your start date. During training you will learn how to pitch the top three roles (Security, Storage, and Windows Admin) and must pass the final, oral certification.
  • This certification is pass/fail. For each TDR, a second attempt at passing the certification is allowed after 48 hours of the first attempt. On this second attempt, you must pass. Failure to pass will result in termination.

Senior Reward Manager - Global Incentives

What you will do
This is strategic impact role at manager level, in terms of delivering value to the JCI organization by putting in place effective and sustainable incentive solutions for Buildings Businesses. Define, design, document and guide successful roll out and implementation of incentive plans, both sales and non-sales.

How you will do it

  • Responsible to the business partners for providing subject matter expertise in designing and structuring incentive compensation programs to meet business objectives and drive year-on-year profitable growth related plans.
  • Provide thought leadership to business partners to transform their needs into an optimal incentive compensation design.
  • Work with the leadership to foster both compromise and approvals regarding final design recommendations.
  • Represent Total Rewards COE as the Incentive Compensation Design leader and partner with other team members from the Total Rewards COE to provide an optimal service level.
  • Responsible for integrating survey feedback, gaps and cost assessments, performance effectiveness analyses, design diagnostic reports, and business strategic requirements into the creation of incentive compensation design proposals.
  • Create strong relationship and partnership within cross functional organization such as finance, HR, IT, operations and legal in order to develop a coalition for incentive compensation engagements regardless of size and scope.
  • Work with business partners in order to develop additional reward programs (e.g. SPIFFs) outside the primary incentive compensation plans in order to support either local, regional or corporate tactical objectives through both cash and non-cash reward programs.
  • Develop and design incentive compensation and reward programs that meet local regulatory compliance and governance/audit programs.
  • Reinforce governance processes: management cadence, target setting, communication platform, scorecard reporting, eligible population definitions, year-end calculation process, etc.
  • Drive alignment of local/regional/legacy plans towards common approach: partner with regional HR and Operations leaders, understand local requirements and circumstances, and guide, steer, influence towards standardization and simplification.
  • Develop communication and learning materials to educate TR COE and HR communities on incentive programs.
  • Work with HRBP and Field HR supporting network of local amp; regional HR partners to drive program implementation.
  • Total Rewards COE ndash; regional teams: access to resources for specific benchmarking, analysis and/or recurrent processes.
  • Collaborate with JCI leadership at all levels of the organization (general management, sales, finance).


Qualifications

  • Overall good understanding of HR, Total Rewards, Compensation and benefits.
  • Extensive knowledge in incentive compensation design.
  • Project management skills (run multiple projects simultaneously across different regions), influence skills.
  • Communication: ability to interact with and influence/guide stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence to successfully steer change management initiatives towards standardized approach.

Preferred

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration/Operation. MBA and CSCP would be a plus but not required.
  • Solid understanding of the dynamics of a products and manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience with global incentives markets and local laws strongly preferred.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of all total rewards components (grading, base salary structures, variable pay practices, benefits, etc.)
