Working in a high-performance desktop trading environment you will provide technical support to M365 users, IT Infrastructure and internal applications. This is a varied role which includes desktop builds, hands-on Comms Room duties and systems administration. Candidates should be able to disassemble desktop PCs and replace / upgrade components. This is a hybrid opportunity with excellent learning opportunities. You should be open to a weekly rotating shift of 9 AM - 5 PM and 6.30 AM - 3 PM. What will you do? <ul><li>Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and server problems upgrading and replacing desktop components</li><li>Diagnose and solve hardware and software incidents and problems</li><li>Act as a central point of contact for all IT infrastructure related requests in relation to servers and IT networks, including maintenance and administration</li><li>SQL Administration and support</li><li>System Monitoring - monitoring of systems through operations monitoring and alerts tools</li><li>Support of Windows Server environment including Exchange Servers</li><li>Support of Office 365 environment</li><li>Application & User Support - provide primary support by dealing with user requests and responding to outages for all operational matters</li><li>Problem escalation to colleagues in other IT Teams where necessary</li><li>Contribute to the documentation of IT policies, processes and procedures</li><li>Install, maintain and support new applications and services</li></ul> What experience do you need? <ul><li>Previous experience in a similar role - Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, Systems Engineer etc.</li><li>COMMS Room experience</li><li>IT Hardware including laptop builds</li><li>Microsoft (Office) 365 Administration</li><li>High availability technologies including UPS and RAID</li><li>SQL knowledge an advantage (training will be provided)</li><li>IT qualifications desirable (MCP, ITIL, MCSA, CompTIA A+ N+ MTA)</li></ul> Apply today for more info.
