My client, a growing tech start-up in recruiting a HR Manager to join their team. This is initially a remote role but will require the successful candidate to work in the Dublin office at least a few days each week when it is safe to do so.

Responsibilities

Job Overview
This role is dual reporting to both the Group Strategic HR Executive and the Finance Director and is responsible for the end-to-end HR operations processes. This role is a hands-on operational role in various HR functions such as Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Performance Management, Absence Management and Benefits.
The successful candidate will manage a HR team including a HR Generalist and a Recruitment Specialist. The complexity and pace of operations place high demands on this position and requires a strong communicator that is detail oriented, well organised, and one who thrives in high workload environment.
Responsibilities

  • Establish and build relationships with Managers and key individuals, becoming a key advisor on all people related matters.
  • Act as a source of expertise in providing advice and coaching to Line Managers in handling workplace relations.
  • Support employees throughout the employee lifecycle i.e. onboarding, integration, transitions, leave requests and exits.
  • Support the Recruitment Process from developing Job Descriptions to preparing adverts, CV reviews, shortlisting, interviews and selection.
  • Deal with Disciplinary and Grievance processes.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior HR Management role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Relevant third level Business or HR qualification (CIPD qualified).
  • Experience in working in a unionised environment and delivering successful negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of both Ireland and UK Employment Law.
  • Track record of building strong relationships, in particular previous success at effective employee and industrial relations.
