Known for exceptional design and customer service, this thriving business is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Distribution/Logistics Manager to oversee their warehouse and logistics operations at their HQ in Finglas. <hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> As the Distribution/Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the business, overseeing all logistics and warehouse operations. Key duties include: <ul><li>Managing warehouse activities: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.</li><li>Leading a small team of 3 operatives, ensuring smooth dispatch, courier coordination, and freight management.</li><li>Overseeing fleet management for company vans.</li><li>Organising stock takes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimising warehouse layout.</li><li>Liaising with store managers, resolving delivery issues, and preparing customs documentation.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards, maintaining equipment, and managing packaging statistics submissions to Repak.</li><li>Actively participating in daily operations, including picking, packing, and unloading containers.</li></ul><hr/><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Experience: Proven track record in logistics, warehouse management, or similar roles.</li><li>Licenses: Valid driver's license and forklift license (reach forklift experience preferred).</li><li>Computer Skills: Comfortable using warehouse management systems and generating reports.</li><li>Physical Fitness: This is a hands-on role involving bending, lifting, and warehouse activity (approx. 60% warehouse, 40% office).</li><li>Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with colleagues, couriers, and suppliers.</li><li>Flexibility & Initiative: A resourceful problem solver with the ability to adapt and manage priorities.</li></ul><hr/><h3>What's on Offer?</h3><ul><li>Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.</li><li>Join a close-knit, growing team in a role previously held for 24 years.</li><li>Opportunities to influence and improve processes in a vital role for the business.</li></ul><hr/> Application Process: This role includes two in-person interviews with the client.
