This role offers a unique blend of generalist HR responsibilities with a strong focus on talent acquisition, training, and employee relations. In this role, you'll work closely with the local HR Business Partner and collaborate with a Talent Acquisition Manager based in the UK. The position blends hands-on generalist duties with recruitment coordination, offering excellent scope to grow within a global HR structure. What You'll Be Doing: Generalist Responsibilities: <ul><li>Support and coordinate weekly payroll processes, timesheet reviews, and administrative reporting</li><li>Work with Core Access and SuccessFactors systems to ensure accurate employee records and payroll data</li><li>Assist with employee relations matters including grievances and investigations</li><li>Support training and onboarding processes, maintaining learning systems and records</li><li>Provide HR admin support including documentation, reporting, and HRIS updates</li></ul> Talent & Recruitment Focus: <ul><li>Partner with the UK Talent Acquisition Manager to streamline recruitment activities</li><li>Post jobs, review applications, and coordinate interviews using the ATS (SuccessFactors)</li><li>Align job descriptions and agency contracts with recruitment best practices</li><li>Onboard new employees and ensure smooth integration into the business</li></ul> What We're Looking For: If you have strong HR fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced, unionised manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you. <ul><li>3+ years HR Generalist experience</li><li>Experience with or exposure to ATS systems (SuccessFactors a bonus)</li><li>Comfortable supporting payroll processes and working with time/attendance systems</li><li>Some experience or awareness of industrial relations (notetaking, grievances, etc.)</li><li>Personable, organised, and confident managing multiple tasks</li><li>CIPD qualification (or working towards) is a plus</li></ul> Schedule <ul><li>Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. researching questions and exploring answers and alternative solutions, and consulting with others, as needed, prior to recommending appropriate actions</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Sense of urgency and competency to handle emergency “One Breath” situations according to UHG protocols</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Effectively and efficiently handles a call schedule from employees or managers</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Provide analytic insights for the region, including the preparation of documentation for the leadership meetings and implementation of Service Now changes in the region</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Audit responsibility ISO, WRC review, plan, and process improvement</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Policy reviews and contribution for formation</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Manager training on ER learning, trends and mitigation strategies</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Manage escalated and complex cases for managers and employees and support sickness absence cases</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Coaching and working with People Business Partners involving more senior level employees/leaders as needed</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Workload through report monitoring and case assignments (for EMEA this can take up to one year to resolve)</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Provide support and backup including, vendor management, facilitating team meetings, new hire and cross-functional training, and case management</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Assist in identifying process improvements for process and policy, contributing to innovative solutions, and make recommendations regarding policies and procedures</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Acts as a resource for others with less experience and provides analytical review and feedback</li></ul>You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Experience in employee relations</li><li>CIPD Level 7 qualified or CIPD Level 5 qualified but willing to study Level 7</li><li>Knowledge of employment law;
