The practice has a strong local reputation and is based in a vibrant area with high footfall. This role is critical to ensuring that services and operations not only meet but exceed the expectations of stakeholders, while aligning with legal and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li class=""> Provide expert advice on QHSE matters across all departments, ensuring alignment with legislation and industry best practice. </li><li class=""> Oversee and update all QHSE documentation, policies, procedures, and training records. </li><li class=""> Drive compliance through audits, training, inspections, and root cause analysis of incidents and non-conformance's. </li><li class=""> Maintain and manage ISO and other relevant certifications. </li><li class=""> Lead monthly QHSE meetings and contribute to strategic operational planning. </li><li class=""> Liaise with contractors and ensure compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements. </li><li class=""> Develop and deliver Health & Safety training programs including Forklift, Manual Handling, and Ergonomic Assessments. </li><li class=""> Manage internal and customer-driven audit processes and follow through with CAPA management. </li><li class=""> Ensure timely SOP updates and maintain hygiene and safety standards across all premises. </li><li class=""> Own and manage AEO certification responsibilities. </li><li class=""> Record and present QHSE metrics and dashboards to senior leadership. </li><li class=""> Actively identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement in line with Lean and CI principles. </li></ul> Candidate Profile: <ul><li class=""> Minimum five year's experience in a QHSE leadership role, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar operationally intensive sector. </li><li class=""> Strong knowledge of ISO standards, audit practices, and certification processes. </li><li class=""> Proven ability to influence, educate, and motivate teams at all levels. </li><li class=""> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong report writing and documentation capabilities. </li><li class=""> High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li class=""> Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities under pressure. </li><li class=""> Commercially aware, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. </li><li class=""> Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence and continuous improvement. </li></ul> Benefits: <ul><li class=""> Competitive base salary with generous performance-related bonus (OTE). </li><li class=""> 21 days annual leave (with potential to increase to 23 days after 12 months). </li><li class=""> Company pension plan. </li><li class=""> Standard working hours: 08:30-17:30. </li><li class=""> Clear progression path and opportunities for professional growth. </li><li class=""> Supportive and energetic work environment. </li></ul> Apply today, by sending your CV and I will contact you for a discussion.
