The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the purchasing function by assisting with various administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier information, and inventory data.</li><li>Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure optimal inventory levels.</li><li>Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and cost control.</li><li>Setup and maintain minimum stock levels and reorder quantities.</li><li>Update changes to product costing</li><li>Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve any issues, and negotiate favourable terms.</li><li>Assist with product sourcing, research, and evaluation to identify new suppliers and products.</li><li>Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required</li><li>Support Production in quality, tooling and maintenance.</li></ul> Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience <ul><li>The successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail and good numerical ability.</li><li>Strong administrative and planning skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask cross-functional team environment.</li><li>Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and take ownership of workloads.</li><li>Ability to be a team player, while also having the ability to work independently.</li><li>Flexible and open to change as the business requires.</li></ul> This position has become available due to a retirement. A long hand over period is envisaged for the successful candidate. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
