- Tendering for global and local large projects, managing the process 360 and identifying areas for improvement and development

- Work with all departments to ensure that key specifications and budgets are clearly aligned
- Resolve and address queries as well as engaging in the tender process fully by conducting review meetings

This role will involve:
- Management of all Commercial Transactions
- Monitoring payments and costs both projected and incurred
- Managing of junior quantity surveying staff
- Meeting with project managers to ensure projects are run in a safe and cost effective manner
- Keeping an up to date record of all payments made and due
- Providing an accurate list of costs and claims in relation to all projects
- Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure an up to date account is provided
- Communication between both staff and client
- Representation of the firm for business development purposes
The ideal candidate:
- Will be degree qualified within Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Will have a minimum of 7 years experience

- Located in proximity to Limerick or looking to relocate

Your new role
Your new role will consist of being a Quantity Surveyor, primarily office based reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. You will be involved in high valued fit-out, commercial and residential projects across the greater Dublin area. You will be supported with a clear career progression plan and you will also be involved in the training and development of Junior Surveyors.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this assignment you will ideally have experience in a similar position working with a main contractor. You must be degree qualified and have a deep understanding of the challenges of working on large complex building projects. Having a Chartership is an advantage but is not essential. You must also have access to your own vehicle and have a full drivers license.

- Pre-contract cost control and documentation
