Lead Data Analyst - Contract - Remote
Your new company
You will be joining one of the world's largest insurance companies. They have offices in Dublin and Galway. The role will be remote for the foreseeable future.
Your new role
You will provide leadership in an AGILE & Dev Ops Methodology environment promoting teamwork and innovation. You will design, develop, and implement solutions leveraging data assets and follow the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC). You will complete development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; driving team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. You will work collaboratively with cross functional teams and delivers best in class customer interactions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong experience of leading a data team. You will have good experience with Relational DBs(SQL Server, Oracle etc), Managed File Transfer, ETL You will have strong data analytical skills. You will have experience with Informatica EDC, ILM or other toolset, QlikView an added advantage. You will have knowledge of Agile and Dev Ops Methodology with working experience being an advantage.

PMO Lead EMEA

This is a permanent position with a leading manufacturing company in Galway. Our client has been in Galway for over 25 years and are continuing to grow globally. You will provide transparency regarding all productivity projects for all of the EMEA sites.

This role will focus on cost improvement through design and innovation for all product lines within Europe while guiding Engineering Managers throughout.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and collaborate with site engineering managers/product leads to apply a similar standard way of working.
  • Provide transparency regarding projects life cycle/investments/benefits.
  • Set process metric goals to provide improvements in the project lifecycle.
  • Control overall Dashboard status.
  • Facilitate ideation workshops per site to ensure a healthy pipeline.
  • Mentor and coache project leaders on project management fundamentals.
  • Escalate issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management.
  • Schedule and lead timely status review meetings and ensures stakeholders involvement.
  • Work with PMO Leader and other Program Managers both internal and external to continuously improve Project Management Processes.
  • Ensures revision of completed projects & drives along with project owner’s organizational learning and process improvement.

Your Background:

  • 5 - 10 years' experience as an accomplished project manager with advanced skills in finance, cross-functional awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution. 
  • At a minimum, a degree in Engineering is required (Honours).
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing company is required.
  • Experience leading productivity projects is preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred

Travel is required for this position (minimum 25%).
