Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Receptionist is the first person that a guest meets on arrival to the Hotel, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel.
• Register the guests and take payment.
• Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
• Take responsibility for the security of the keys.
• Update all guest information in the computer.
• Take and confirm reservations to our guests.

Requirements:

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Opera Cloud experience would be preferable
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Be able to work on your own initiative.
• Be able to cope well under pressure and multitask

The Maldron Hotel South Mall Cork is ideally located overlooking the River Lee and in the heart of the city.  The Hotel opened in December 2018, with 163 bedrooms, a Grain & Grill Restaurant, Hotel Bar, The Red Bean Roastery coffee shop and 6 meeting rooms.  Further expansion of the Hotel will include the Italian Kitchen restaurant which will have an entrance on Parnell Place.

Your Day to Day

• Effectively and efficiently manage customer interactions and data in our CRM
• Ensure new business inquiries are quickly responded to, scheduling meetings / demos / conference calls, screen share demos, train customers, and customer support via email / phone
• Take ownership of project set-up
• Escalate and level-up conversations when needed for strategic accounts
• Schedule outbound phone calls to follow up with potential prospects and customers

• Work closely with sales and account management to ensure our customers receive the best in-class support

What Youll Need to Excel in this Role

• 2+ years of experience in a customer success, sales or account management position supporting a software product 
• A critical thinking mindset - we need someone who can think on their feet and come up with solutions, not continuously ask their team for the answer
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Office applications
• Previous experience working with a CRM
• A meticulous and relentless manner when it comes to following up with leads and customers

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Coverage Renewal Representative is to maintain and grow revenue with our existing customers. This is inclusive of managing current renewals, upselling prepaid maintenance and reinstating lapsed customers.   • Partner with other members of the Renewal team and with field sales to support in the selling process

• Required

• • Fluent in English and one of the following language: Italian, French or German

  • 2+ years of inside sales, renewal or account management experience (software related industry is preferred)
  • Strong organization skills with an emphasis on territory management
  • Excellent PC and internet skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel)
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment; must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a high volume of e-mail communications and out bound calls
