This individual’s work can result in stronger financial returns and a healthier health care system for both our clients and consumers.Consultant Development Programme (CDP) The Consultant Development Program (CDP) is a program for those interested in developing and deploying client-facing, problem-solving and presentation skills with health care clients.  The CDP sits within Optum Advisory and allows for early career professionals to experience a diversity of health care clients through a variety of engagements. CDP members work on different client teams while simultaneously receiving mentorship and formal training in key consulting competencies.  Programme completion includes alignment into an Optum Advisory practice and typically takes 1.5-2.5 years to complete.Primary Roles & Responsibilities of an Advisory Services Analyst:<ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Responsible for documenting customer/client requirements through clear, concise and effective written and oral communication.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Perform analysis for business process re-engineering opportunities and define, develop and document before and after process flows.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Enable strategic business transformation through the application of technology, process improvement and innovation to our client’s most complex problems.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Conduct research & stakeholder interviews that may include collecting, analysing, trending and presenting data and recommendations to clients.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Navigate client-facing interactions, presentations and relationship building in scenarios of project delivery, social situations, change management and at times ambiguity.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Promote project success with requirements analysis, presentation creation and project management duties; including meeting management, project planning and project budget support.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Participate in assessment, project sizing, market analysis and scope evaluation of potential project deliverables.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Grow in specific areas of interest and develop subject matter expertise.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Develop and support in the delivery of client-facing presentations.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Provide support and information to clients making strategic decisions and implement enhancements to their organisations’ strategy, productivity, performance, and long-term profitability.</li></ul>You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications of an Advisory Services Analyst:<ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Management, IT or related field.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Business acumen and basic data analysis experience.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Client-facing experience working in any of the following environments: management consulting/professional consulting, data analysis, project management, general consulting and/or business process improvement.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Ability to work in office on a hybrid schedule (3 days home / 2 days in-office).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications of an Advisory Services Analyst:<ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Health care experience.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Intellectual curiosity in health care and improving health systems.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Business Intelligence experience with Data Analytics and Data Visualization tools using SQL, Tableau, Power BI or related platforms.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma'">Experience with Agile methodology (Product Owner, Scrum Master), database management systems, and other business-related technologies.</li></ul>Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
