We are seeking a Stock controller on behalf of out client, to manage the lifecycle of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) parts, ensuring efficient sourcing, obsolescence tracking, and vendor coordination. About the Role: In this position, you will play a key role in managing engineering storeroom operations, identifying and addressing obsolescence risks, and working closely with suppliers to source critical parts. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Review and update the Register of Obsolete and At-Risk Parts.</li><li>Engage with suppliers to source non-Mikron stock parts and assess alternative sourcing options.</li><li>Determine timelines and provide insights for risk assessments.</li><li>Identify and recommend equivalent replacement parts, including preparing detailed specification packs for engineering review.</li><li>Obtain and present quotations of critical parts.</li><li>Support engineering teams by addressing queries.</li></ul> What We're Looking For: ✔ Experience: 4+ years in an inventory or MRO environment, ideally within pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries. ✔ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MRO parts, sourcing strategies, and their functions. ✔ Regulatory Awareness: Experience working in a cGMP environment is required. ✔ Systems & Tools: Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, Maximo, and database management. ✔ Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, strong organizational skills, and adaptability to change.
