Your role within the IT Team will include the following responsibilities: Prepare, install and maintain network services (switching, VPN, firewall systems); Identify improvement points in the current networking IT service infrastructure and propose/implement solutions; Prepare, install and maintain high availability computer services primarily based on Linux; Prepare, install and maintain Linux desktop/laptop systems; Identify improvement points in the current Linux IT service infrastructure and propose/implement solutions; Provide excellent and user-friendly support for our internal and external Users; For short periods (e.g. In-depth technical experience with network Systems (switches/firewalls/vpn); In-depth technical experience with Linux Systems; Programming and scripting ability such as Python or bash; Strong, independent, problem solving abilities; Intermediate to advanced verbal and written communication in English; Aptitude to produce and maintain reliable and documented work; Strong ability to communicate and to work effectively in a team; Balanced interest in Opensource as well as proprietary technologies.
