You'll be responsible for managing stock, assisting customers, and supporting both our retail and contract fencing operations. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Yard & Stock Management:<ul><li>Unload, check, and store fencing and agricultural supplies.</li><li>Prepare, load, and dispatch customer orders efficiently.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard and store.</li><li>Assist with stock takes and inventory control.</li></ul></li><li>Sales & Customer Support:<ul><li>Assist farmers, fencing contractors, and rural customers with product selection.</li><li>Provide counter sales support and process payments for goods.</li><li>Liaise with the purchasing team on stock availability and lead times.</li><li>Help create and check purchase orders for retail and contract fencing stock.</li><li>Organise deliveries in a timely manner.</li></ul></li><li>Health & Safety Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure all operations align with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Carry out deliveries of fencing materials when required.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>Experience in the agricultural or farm supply sector is a plus.</li><li>Forklift operation experience is essential (valid ticket desired).</li><li>Knowledge of fencing materials and farm-related products.</li><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team.</li><li>Basic computer skills (MS Office & ERP systems).</li><li>A positive, customer-focused approach.</li></ul><h3>Hours & Salary</h3><ul><li>Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.</li><li>Competitive salary: €30,000 - €35,000+ with potential for growth.</li><li>Location: Bandon, West Cork</li></ul><h3>Why Join FRS Fencing?</h3> This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established agricultural business, supporting farmers and fencing contractors across the region.
