eir evo talent are seeking applications for a Wintel Server Engineer this is a long-term day rate contract located in Longford. The role is hybrid with 1 day per week onsite. The Wintel Team is responsible for the management, maintenance and support of:  <ul><li>The predominant Windows desktop PC client device and a small quantity of thin clients and laptops and tablets (IOS) located throughout the client’s infrastructure. The majority of applications & services are delivered via a Citrix environment.</li><li>The server infrastructure comprising rack mount servers in addition to a blade infrastructure. These servers are a mix of physical (Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022) and virtual (Hyper-V/VMware/Xen Hypervisor).</li><li>Centralised storage, which is provided by 3PAR StoreServe 8400, Nimble All-Flash Array, Dell Power Store and Scality S3 platform with approximately 700 terabytes of mixed storage.</li><li>Anti-Virus throughout the client’s desktop and server infrastructure using Trellix ePO server and providing a second level of resilience in terms of email and website scanning.</li><li>The Wintel System Engineer/Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of all the following environments:</li><li>Citrix;</li><li>Windows;</li><li>Exchange email;</li><li>Lotus Notes;</li><li>Network integrated CCTV;</li><li>Storage environments;</li><li>SQL environment;</li><li>Backup Environments;</li></ul>   If you are interested in applying for this role, please do so via the relevant link.
