In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using modern tools, including Databricks, to empower the business to extract maximum value from data. This opportunity operates off a hybrid working model based in Co Donegal. Responsibilities:  <ul><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Impala, Oozie, Hive, Airflow, and HDFS to support high-volume data processing and orchestration.</li><li>Drive modernisation initiatives, including evaluating and integrating cloud platforms and Databricks into our data architecture.</li><li>Develop and deploy cloud-based data solutions using AWS services such as Athena, S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift and Lambda.</li></ul> Requirements:  <ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.</li><li>Proficient in SQL, and scripting languages like Python or Shell.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Impala, Oozie, HDFS) and workflow orchestration (Airflow).</li><li>Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).</li><li>Exposure to or interest in Databricks and modern data platforms is a strong plus.</li></ul> EET:7211 Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply. Senior Application Support Engineer Permanent Location: Letterkenny, Co.Donegal,  – Hybrid 3 days per week    The Role We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mid/Senior Application Support Engineer.  As an Application Support Engineer, you will join our clients Production Support team providing L2 support to our Client. The team, work in a high profile, mission critical environment within a Banking Environment. In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivated to delivering excellent service & support. The team is responsible for troubleshooting incidents, both proactive and reactive in nature. There is a requirement to work flexible shifts to cover 24 *7 support for the client.
