<img height="1" src="https://counter.adcourier.com/TVRyZWFjeS45MzkwMi40NzlAZnJzLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" width="1"/><h3 class="">Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li class=""> Lead the estimating and tendering function to secure new projects. </li><li class=""> Present tender reviews to the board upon receipt of new tenders. </li><li class=""> Assign responsibilities for works proposals and site visit requirements. </li><li class=""> Analyse plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation to produce competitive bids. </li><li class=""> Research materials, equipment, and labour costs. </li><li class=""> Issue tender enquiries to subcontractors and specialists promptly. </li><li class=""> Compile risk and opportunity registers, including alternative and value engineering options. </li><li class=""> Develop detailed prelims budgets in line with project duration and staffing needs. </li><li class=""> Formally review tenders with Directors before submission. </li><li class=""> Assess financial, technical, and operational risks associated with projects. </li><li class=""> Stay updated with the latest construction technologies. </li><li class=""> Maintain detailed records and generate comprehensive reports. </li><li class=""> Produce tender analysis of winning bids for handover to the project team. </li><li class=""> Monitor construction contracts and highlight potential risks. </li><li class=""> Identify and promote new business opportunities. </li><li class=""> Provide advice on alternative construction methods. </li><li class=""> Ensure tendering processes align with ISO accreditation and continuously improve systems. </li></ul><h3 class="">Requirements:</h3><ul><li class=""> Quantity Surveying degree qualification preferred, with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience. </li><li class=""> Experience in a variety of projects, including Residential, Civil, Commercial, Retail, Pharma, and Public Works. </li><li class=""> Proven team management experience with the ability to mentor junior staff. </li><li class=""> Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills. </li><li class=""> Strong understanding of construction technology and building detail. </li><li class=""> Proficiency in estimating/surveying/accounting software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). </li><li class=""> Strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset. </li><li class=""> Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li class=""> Preferably based in the North Leinster / Midlands region. </li><li class=""> Safepass certification required. </li></ul> If you meet the above criteria and are ready to take the next step in your estimating career, apply today!
