You'll be responsible for managing stock, assisting customers, and supporting both our retail and contract fencing operations.<br/><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Yard & Stock Management:</strong><ul><li>Unload, check, and store fencing and agricultural supplies.</li><li>Prepare, load, and dispatch customer orders efficiently.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard and store.</li><li>Assist with stock takes and inventory control.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Sales & Customer Support:</strong><ul><li>Assist farmers, fencing contractors, and rural customers with product selection.</li><li>Provide counter sales support and process payments for goods.</li><li>Liaise with the purchasing team on stock availability and lead times.</li><li>Help create and check purchase orders for retail and contract fencing stock.</li><li>Organise deliveries in a timely manner.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Health & Safety Compliance:</strong><ul><li>Ensure all operations align with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Carry out deliveries of fencing materials when required.</li></ul></li></ul><h3><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Experience in the agricultural or farm supply sector is a plus.</strong></li><li><strong>Forklift operation experience is essential</strong> (<strong>valid ticket desired</strong>).</li><li>Knowledge of fencing materials and farm-related products.</li><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team.</li><li>Basic computer skills (MS Office & ERP systems).</li><li>A positive, customer-focused approach.</li></ul><h3><strong>Hours & Salary</strong></h3><ul><li>Monday to Friday, <strong>8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</strong>.</li><li>Competitive salary: <strong>€30,000 - €35,000+</strong> with potential for growth.</li><li>Location: <strong>Bandon, West Cork</strong></li></ul><h3><strong>Why Join FRS Fencing?</strong></h3><br/>This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established <strong>agricultural business</strong>, supporting farmers and fencing contractors across the region.
