This is a temporary role with a strong view to permanency for the right candidate, offering hybrid working options and a salary of €65,000-€70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the group, including services, retail, and associated entities. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to a qualified accountant with strong systems experience and excellent attention to detail. Candidates with prior experience in the charity or non-profit sector will be at a strong advantage. Key responsibilities include: <ul><li class=""> Preparing monthly management accounts to Balance Sheet stage </li><li class=""> Bank reconciliations and cash management </li><li class=""> Credit card terminal income reporting </li><li class=""> Supporting the year-end audit and liaising with auditors </li><li class=""> Budget preparation and variance analysis </li><li class=""> Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciation </li><li class=""> Managing intercompany accounts </li><li class=""> Coordinating supplier payments with the Accounts Payable team </li><li class=""> VAT management and income reconciliations </li></ul> Key requirements: <ul><li class=""> Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent) </li><li class=""> Strong experience using accounting software and advanced Excel </li><li class=""> Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills </li><li class=""> A proactive team player with a focus on process improvement </li><li class=""> Previous charity or public sector experience is highly desirable </li></ul> If you are a dedicated finance professional looking to make a difference in a meaningful organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
