This role is to assist with cover, busy times, sick leave, step up as DON or PIC where required throughout a number of homes. It is a full time permanent role.
This is a great opportunity to join a larger group while still having a home from home feel in the nursing home on the ground.
The key objective is to effectively assist manage the successful operation of the Nursing Home, ensuring high quality care standards are maintained and that business objectives are met.

The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) Coronary Care at Our Lady's Hospital Navan will manage a 6 bedded in patient unit plus telemetry for inpatients in other ward areas.

What you will do
Operating out of a social model of disability you will have responsibility for the assessment, planning , delivery and evaluation of the care required to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of individuals with physical and neurorological disabilities. Provide clinical and professional supervision and support to the nursing and frontline care support teams
Through strong leadership encourage excellence and promote evidence based practice
Have oversight of all clinical records and documentation, including care plans and the management of clinical risk.

As a member of the Senior Management Team support continuous improvement across all areas of the service and act as designate for the Service Manager as required.
Designated Safeguarding Officer and responsible for HIQA notifications as required.

In possession of a nursing qualification and registered with An Bord Altranais
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience and currently operating at CNM1 or Senior Staff Nurse Level
Have line management or significant supervisory experience within the disabiltiy or broad social services field
Knowledge of and experience in working within HIQA regulatory framework
Evidence based decision making skills and experience in the management and effective delivery of change
Have experience in the development and delivery of training to staff
Have experience in the review and development of policies
Evidence of personal and professional development
Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to adapt to changing technology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in the Republic of Ireland
Ability to speak and write English fluently
