Microsoft VDI Architect / SME Location : Dublin - Hybrid  Duration : 6+ months contract – Highly extendable     Role Profile/About the Opportunity  We are looking for an Virtualization Architect with skills in Citrix, AVD, W365 & Dev Box to provide deep technical expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting secure and scalable virtual desktop solutions.   Key Responsibilities   <ul><li>Design and Implement AVD, W365 & Dev Box solutions.</li><li>Environment Optimization, recommended best security practices.</li><li>Configure FSlogix as profiling.</li><li>Develop and implement automation for scaling, image updates.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AVD, Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to support teams.</li><li>Work with the Customer Architecture Team. Draft HLD/LLD and other project documents.</li></ul>  Key skills/knowledge/experience:    <ul><li>Virtualization Architect with 10 to 12 Yrs of hands-on experience with various VDI technologies AVD, Citrix, W365, DevBox etc.</li><li>5 Yrs of Experience in consulting, designing, and implementing AVD, W365 & Dev Box</li><li>Worked on various scenarios and use cases to design and build Prod and DR solutions</li><li>Configure and deploy FSLOGIX and required infra in AVD</li><li>Application modernization knowledge with MSIX App Attach & 3rd party products</li><li>Sound Knowledge of 3rd party tools i.e. Nerdio, Hydra, Liquit, Lakeside Systrack etc. is plus</li><li>Knowledge on automation with DevOps, Terraform, Biceps will be plus</li><li>Configure Optimization & Security features on hostpools</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Azure services - AAD, AADS, RBAC, Storage, Policies, Backup, Recovery Service Vault, Azure Firewall, Private Link, UDR, Security, Azure File share, AVD Autoscaling, AVD Security features & Azure Monitor</li><li>Work with MS for any ongoing critical issues</li><li>Knowledge on Group Policy , Active Directory and Registry settings.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation. Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of session host performance tuning and diagnostics.</li><li>Deployed MS Dev Box and aware of the latest features.
