Due to growth, they have a new senior position as Technical Team Lead, this is a key strategic role at architecture level where you will be responsible for an expanding technology portfolio.

The Technical Team Lead will manage the expanding technology portfolio and build out the engineering, devops and technical support teams.
The role's primary focus will be to help the design team to architect, resource and support the next generation of their platform as they scale the business.

The position is based in our HQ in Dundalk and is a Full-time Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our design team to plan and resource our product roadmap and rollout
• Technical team recruitment, management and development
• Technology selection, strategy and architecture
• Development and DevOps process design and facilitation

Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years in a technical team lead role, preferably with exposure to team building and recruitment
• Coding experience essential 
• Practice in management of onshore and offshore teams a benefit
• Experience with LAMP stack web and mobile development technology like PHP, Java, Swift and databases like Mongo and MySQL preferable but not essential
• Familiarity with DevOps processes for platforms like GitHub, AWS, Play Store and AppStore

• Plan, architect, and develop new features and functionality for our web-based software applications that enhance brand experiences

• Design, implement and audit security best practices on coding and infrastructure.
• Do PenTest on cloud infrastructure and applications, report and work on the resolution of the issues
• Architect/Design, develop, code, test and debug backend software.
• Document use cases, procedures, scripts and programs that belong to a project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Experience working with NodeJS.
• Experience on 2 or more of these: Java, GoLang, Python, Rust, C++.
• Comfortable with AWS Cloud service.
• Ideally, production experience with Relational DB and NOSQL.
• Experience using Serverless technologies (Lambda, serverless framework, …)
• Experience on multithread programming.

• Security certifications (ethical hacker)
• Experience administrating services in production.
• Experience working with internal and external customers.
