Our client is expanding their team to support continued growth and are looking for a Materials Engineer to play a key role in enhancing product performance and manufacturing efficiency. The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve products. This role would suit a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience. A farming background would also be advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Test and analyse materials (rubber, plastics, and steel) to meet performance specifications and regulations.</li><li>Assemble and build jigs, moulds, and prototypes to support development.</li><li>Set up and conduct material tests using tools such as pneumatics, data loggers, and 3D FDM printing.</li><li>Document test results, maintain detailed records, and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.</li></ul> What We're Looking For: <ul><li>A Level 8 degree in a relevant engineering discipline.</li><li>Knowledge of material properties and testing methods.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and technical documentation.</li><li>Hands-on experience in prototyping, assembling, and jig/mould building.</li><li>Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor (advantageous but not essential).</li><li>Excellent teamwork, communication, and initiative.</li></ul> Why Apply?
