Logistics * Organise distribution of orders via courier or our own transport * Clinical Sampling Administrative duties: * Process orders on internal systems * Filling and Administration. * Answering inbound calls. * Processing email orders. * Setting up new products. * Dealing with customer queries. Duties to include Reporting to the CEO the primary purpose of this role is to Lead, develop, and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company objectives, in collaboration with regional and global teams. <ul><li>Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships and key accounts to drive business growth.</li><li>Deliver sustainable business growth over the next five years through optimized operations, strategic alliances, and superior customer service.</li><li>Assess new markets, industries, and revenue streams; lead the successful launch of new nutritional solutions and services.</li><li>Work closely with senior leadership to define financial targets, growth objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).</li><li>Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and competitive advantages to strengthen market position.</li><li>Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry leaders across all species sectors.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing customer experience team to deliver best-in-class service and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Design and implement a data strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders to support overall organizational goals and performance.</li><li>Leverage technical expertise to drive commercial success and enhance business performance.</li><li>Partner with internal cross-functional teams to identify and support business development opportunities.</li><li>Manage and lead teams while promoting an inclusive, positive, and high-performance culture, ensuring continuous learning and training compliance.</li><li>Actively contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by identifying and escalating health, safety, and environmental concerns as needed.</li><li>Perform other reasonable duties as required to support business success. </li></ul> Essential experience required <ul><li>Deep understanding of animal feed ingredients, formulations, species-specific nutrition (livestock, poultry, pets, ruminant), and the effects of nutrition on animal health and performance.</li><li>Strong skills in consultative selling, lead generation, client relationship building, contract negotiation, and closing large, strategic deals.</li><li>Key Account Management - Relationship building at multiple levels (technical teams, procurement, executives</li><li>Ability to translate complex nutritional concepts into value propositions that resonate with different stakeholders (nutritionists, veterinarians, procurement teams, executives.</li><li>A strong network within the agricultural industry ( feed mills , integrators , co-ops , veterinarians ,farm groups )</li><li>Knowledge of global and local regulations concerning animal feed , feed additives and labelling )</li></ul> Candidate profile <ul><li>Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related field.</li><li>Strong technical grounding in monogastric and/or ruminant nutrition.</li><li>Ability to communicate complex nutritional solutions simply and persuasively.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years in a senior commercial, key account management, or technical sales role within the animal nutrition or feed industry.</li></ul> Location & Travel <ul><li>UK or Ireland-based (flexible on exact location).</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Europe / ROW (~20-30% travel).</li></ul> Remuneration package Attractive basic salary , bonus and other benefits ( Pension , medical insurance & 25 days annual ) To apply Please email your CV through the attached link Phone calls in confidence to John Miller on 00353 879955439 100% confidentiality assured FRS Recruitment will never disclose your information to a 3rd party without your prior consent.
