Our client, a national medical organisation, based in Dublin 1 are currently looking for an experienced medical administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.

This role is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months and will be a busy administration role where you will be supporting a number of teams with all of their admin needs.

This role will require someone who can proactive and is happy to work with a varied workload. You will be responsible for database management and along with attending meetings you will be responsible for accurately recording the minutes of the meetings and following up on the administration tasks and actions.

This is a temporary position and will need at least 6 months’ commitment from the successful candidate

Salary €28,000

Location: Remote / On-Site in Dublin 1

Start Date: Immediate

Daily duties include:

  • Working on administration tasks to daily and weekly deadlines
  • Support the preparation and issuing of office documentation (correspondence, reports, etc)
  • Reviewing team work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Database Management
  • Maintain confidentiality of documentation and records
  • Organise and attend meetings as required.
  • Take minutes at meetings and prepare for circulation following meeting.
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks including typing and chart reporting

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2 years’ Medical admin experience
  • Minute taking experience
  • Excellent Attention to detail on written documentation
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work on their own and also within a team

The ideal person should have excellent attention to detail and be eager to work in a busy and dynamic environment supporting a team of nurses both in house and on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall high volume administration support to the nursing team.
  • Meet and exceed both existing and new patient expectations while being the first internal point of contact.
  • Manage and respond to calls and queries in a professional manner
  • Plan and coordinate the scheduling of nursing services with the team
  • Record and analyse customer satisfaction using feedback procedures
  • Attending team meetings as required
  • Management of projects and other duties that may be assigned from time to time

 

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in an Administration / Service Support / Customer Care role in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrates a strong customer orientation, delivering an exceptional service in order to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations
  • Professional and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Actively contribute to the development of a positive team environment, demonstrating a flexible approach.
  • Ensures that work is executed accurately and completely, paying close attention to the detail
  • Good analytical skills to help drive process improvements
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment with competing demands
  • Good administrative and IT/computing skills with experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook,Word and Excel are essential)
  • The ability to work remotely from own home should this be required due unforeseen emergency situations such as the current COVID-19 Pandemic
