The Accounts Administrator is part of our ‘Premium Processing Team’ which sits within the Finance Department in Cornmarket. It is an experienced and dedicated team who focus on the administrative tasks involved in processing thousands of premiums each month. This is a Fixed Term Contract position.


There are a wide range of duties in this role that include; processing incoming payments, submitting deductions, issuing refunds and dealing with employer queries. There are also several ongoing projects within the team that will require assistance to bring efficiencies to the current processes.


Accountabilities of the Role

  • Processing incoming payments from employers and reconciliation of same
  • Preparation of monthly submission requests to the various payroll departments
  • Issuing of life premium refunds on a daily and monthly basis
  • Liaising with various payrolls for remittances in adherence with Pension Act and investigating any over/under payments
  • Running monthly reports to investigate potential payment issues
  • Dealing with employer queries and liaising with other departments to resolve them
  • Maintaining commercial awareness of the public sector and
  • General ad hoc duties as assigned


Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Third level qualification or 3 years’ experience in a Finance team desired
  • Ability to use MS Office products, in particular an excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of risk control & regulatory environment
  • Commercial awareness of the public sector and
  • Experience in premium processing would be an advantage

Specific responsibilities

  • You will reconcile driver balances and will process payments against the driver.
  • You will place driver partners on hold in the event they have not paid their fees on time. You will pay Driver Partners, completing the weekly payment cycle
  • You will generate invoices for all Driver Partners and ensure that all banking administrative tasks are complete and up to date on a daily basis.
  • You will utilise your comprehensive knowledge of excel to prepare financial reports and manipulate data, using excel formulas such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP.
  • You will complete monthly audits to ensure all relevant Driver Partner documents are obtained and recorded.
  • You will continually update finance journals and maintain up to date records.
  • You will create weekly reports and send these to the finance function.
  • You will continually ensure that we always adhere to both legal and contractual compliance obligations.
  • You will carry out compliance checks and audits.

One of the largest public sector bodies requires an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their busy accounting department based in South Dublin due to an increase in workload. This is a 3 month temporary contract, but is highly likely to be extended due to the demand in the Accounts Payable team. Your new role
Reporting into the Accounts Payable manager, you will be responsible for creating a high volume of purchase orders, receipts and invoice payments on SAP. Other ad-hoc duties include providing documentation for internal audit purposes and assisting the Accounts Payable manager as directed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have 1 years experience in a similar accounts payable or accounts administrator role, ideally within the public sector but private sector candidates will also be considered. A proficiency with SAP would be considered highly advantageous.

Your Role

 

As an MSSQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

 

- Ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security of our client’s production database platform on Azure

- Providing level 2 administration/support work to MS SQL databases on our client’s production platform

- Writing SQL scripts to facilitate the diagnosis and resolution of issues in real time

- Constantly managing the database platform according to best practices, providing recommendations and implementing improvements

- Working with Engineering Team on database design and implementing changes as part of the normal software development process

- Analysing SQL Level Performance and providing recommendations

- Co-ordinating team resources to effectively manage projects, incidents and problems

- Mentoring/leading other team members

- Managing disaster recovery, backup and restore processes for SQL Server on Azure platform

- Learning and adopting the latest technologies and tools and making recommendations

- Managing and monitoring SQL jobs and SSIS packages

 

About You

 

To be considered as an MSSQL Database Administrator, you will need:

 

- At least five years’ verifiable track record as a SQL Server DBA including performance monitoring and performance tuning of existing databases and database backups

- Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL and experience with running SQL Server on Microsoft Azure Managed Instance

- Experience with database migration projects (e.g. version upgrades) and data centre migration

projects

- Experience with database design and working with a software engineering team implementing

changes

- Experience with disaster recovery solutions.

- Knowledge and experience of building and supporting SSIS packages

- Experience of leading and/or mentoring other team members

- MSSQL certifications

- A degree in a relevant IT related discipline

 

Fluent English is required for the role.

 

You must have access to right to work documents and/or an EU Passport or Stamp 4 visa.

 

You must be able to attend physical office location in Blackrock Dublin (post Covid).

 

Experience in working with source control and continuous delivery would be beneficial to your application. Experience in Microsoft data tools and database solutions would also be advantageous, as would previous experience with Azure Monitoring.
