Main responsibilities are to support the financial controller with daily accounting duties in General Ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Duties: <ul><li>To support and ensure reconciliations are properly prepared and that all reconciling items are cleared within the agreed timescales and to provide any necessary analysis.</li><li>Ensure appropriate documented files are maintained and filed for later review by Auditors.</li><li>Focus on both AP and AR. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and will have primary responsibility for payables and receivables as well as banking.</li><li>Assisting with weekly, monthly and year-end financial reporting</li><li>Revenue reporting VAT, RCT, Vies, Intrastat.</li><li>Assisting with ad hoc finance queries</li></ul> Key Requirements <ul><li>1 to 2 year's experience in a similar role.</li><li>PQ Accountant (IATI, ACCA, CIMA / Graduate)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerised accounting and spreadsheet programs</li><li>High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to work independently or as a team member</li></ul> Full training will be provided.
