We are seeking a Accounts Assistant for a permanent role based in Dublin (hybrid). The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of daily and monthly accounting tasks and reconciliations. This role will also provide ad hoc support to other areas of the finance team as/when required. This role will report on a daily basis to the Senior Financial Accountant. Key Role Responsibilities: <ul><li>Reconciliation of PAYE, VAT and Payroll control accounts</li><li>Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Coordinate credit card and Revolut payments</li><li>Reconciliation of intercompany accounts</li><li>Posting monthly Payroll & PAYE journals</li><li>Preparation of VAT, VIES & Intrastat returns for a number of entities</li><li>Assisting external accountants with US sales tax returns</li><li>Prepare monthly sales, payroll and other costs reports to support month end reporting</li></ul> Education, Qualifications and Skills <ul><li>3-5 years' experience working as an Accounts Assistant.</li><li>Part ACCA qualified, or plan on doing ACCA exams is desirable.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting /Diploma preferred.</li><li>IT Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Navision and/or Sage is desirable</li><li>Strong communications skills, over the phone and via email.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry and financial processing.</li></ul> Why work with us?
