eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for an IT Support Engineer.This is a 9 month Contract position located with our client in Athlone and work onsite 5 days a week. The Role In this role you will perform the On-Site IT services and end-user support. Your focus will be on resolving onsite support tickets, providing user onboarding/training where required and ensuring user satisfaction. You will help manage the IT equipment lifecycle process and assist and collaborate in IT project implementation. Reporting to the Plant Production Manager, the role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining the production line to ensure smooth performance and high-quality output. A strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is desirable, along with previous experience in a manufacturing environment. <h3>Roles and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Set up, operate, and maintain the injection moulding production line to ensure efficient production.</li><li>Perform mould and machine cleaning, as well as maintenance of robots and ancillary equipment.</li><li>Ensure production of finished goods in compliance with SOPs and customer specifications.</li><li>Conduct quality checks and record quality data as required.</li><li>Handle raw materials and finished goods efficiently.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised work area.</li><li>Perform additional production-related tasks as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing (packaging, food production, engineered components, etc.).</li><li>Strong knowledge of machine operation and production processes.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Interest or experience in GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is an advantage.</li></ul> Shift Pattern: Alternating shifts.
