Ergo are seeking a Senior IT Field Engineer in Galway. The successful Senior IT Field Engineer will join a well-established team to support multiple remote client sites around the Galway region. Candidates should have experience installing and configuring IT hardware and software systems including networked printers, OS upgrades and Unified Comms devices.

These roles are available on a permanent or long-term contract basis. Full Driver’s License and own transport is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing PC’s / Laptops - configuring IP details, applying correct image and configuring as part of domain etc.
• Support and configuration of Virtual Desktop Environment using VMware setting up smart devices (iOS & Android)
• Support of Control Rooms systems and services such as CCTV.
• Support and configuration of desk based telephony systems, Video Conferencing and Unified Communications.
• Network patching and support.
• Installing and maintaining networked printers and scanners.
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge base.

Desired Skills for this role:

• 7+ years experience in a similar role – Field Support Engineer
• Full Clean Driver’s license

Looking for a Customer Service representative for a temporary role with a  leading MNC in Galway. In this role you will be responsible for arranging domestic and international shipments, preparing commercial invoices, order confirmations and confirming order approval, handling customs clearance, monitor inventory levels at warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for arranging domestic and international shipments as per Inco terms, handling customs clearance, preparing and confirming order approval and to ensure smooth transaction for the customers
• Coordinate shipments to and from factory, supplier, site, port and international locations.
• Process complaints
• Prepare and send documentation that coincides with shipments and exportation and are responsible for export regulatory compliance
• Arrange transportation and customs clearance for shipments
• Adherence and awareness of compliance and regulatory guidelines in customer set up and support
• Manage and respond to customer requests for quotations and tenders
• Process fax, telephone, e-mail inquiries and orders to the committed customer timelines
• Resolve e-mail, fax and telephone issues with customers regarding pricing, inventory availability, terms, delivery or any other question or situation a customer may inquire about
• Communicate proactively with internal and (external customers regarding order status and other topics in a professional, positive and courteous manner
• Work with others to ensure that accurate customer information is maintained in SAP
• Stay current with inventory levels and requirements, in particular products on allocation
• Responsible for making sure any customer account changes are communicated to relevant owner
• Keep up-to-date on products, inventory, promotions, etc. that are necessary to provide customers with impeccable customer service
• Review and maintain customers open orders on a daily basis
• Keep CS and sales manager informed of all changes, issues and potential concerns of all customer accounts
• Work with warehouse or supply chain personnel as needed to ensure customer requirements are met
• Complete all customer or staff requested reporting
• Investigate and resolve service issues reported by customers 
• Responsible for executing applicable Quality Management System (QMS) processes, monitoring the success of service provided, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Creating process documents in line with our Quality Management System
• Adhering to the process defined in QMS
• Other duties as assigned

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of shipping, domestic and export traffic terms, documentation and procedures or proven track record in same.
• Thorough understanding of Customs regulations, is advantageous
• Thorough understanding of Export controls, is advantageous
• Knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines for setting up export customers, is advantageous
• Experience handling tasks where attention to detail is critical to success
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP Systems (preferably SAP), is advantageous
• Experience auditing documents and project requirements, is advantageous
• Knowledge and comprehension of basic contract terms and conditions, is advantageous
• Previous customer service experience in the healthcare industry preferred but not essential

Orthopaedic Product Specialist and Territory Manager

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading medical distributors.  Established in Dublin almost 20 years ago, they supply a range of products and services to hospitals and medical practitioners throughout Ireland.

They are now looking for a Product Specialist/Territory Manager for one of their premium range of Orthopaedic surgical devices. This role will cover the midlands and west of Ireland. 

Required Background/Experience

• Medical qualification or experience such as nursing, physiotherapy, surgical assistant etc.
• A medical or related science qualification is highly desired.
• Good knowledge of the human anatomy, orthopaedic knowledge would be highly desired.
• Ability to sell is a consultative capacity.
• A background as a hospital practitioner or sales executive to hospitals and surgeons.

DUTIES:

• Support current business in existing hospitals.
• Successful conversion of new business opportunities.
• Provide product support and education.
• Provide and/or organise in service training for nurses and surgeons.
• Communication with stores/logistics and aiding in the HSE procurement process.
• Scrubbing and assisting in a training capacity.
